Boiling Complex Tech Down

Innovator: “My tech is just too complex to boil down”

Your novel tech IS complicated and next-level! I believe you. But

in order to
→ engage clinicians
→ empower patients
→ convince admin
→ entice investors

We need to simplify it! Way way down.

Innovator: “But Natalie my pitch deck / research / white page says its all!”

that mound of research can use a long simmer.
Or low-heat x12 hours

If you are an innovator with a complex solution,
Try this exercise to boil down your tech, focus on writing the most for 1 and 2

→ The Clinical Question:
→ Your Tech is the solution because:
→ It accomplishes this by: nitty gritty details, in’s and out’s of the tech and the research
→ It’s better than the competition because:
→ It adds value by:

Write until the pens runs out of ink. Give as much detail as humanly possible.
Channel your inner Russian Novelist.

Then go category by category and summarize.
Just a little at a time.

Revisit in a few hours or a few days.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat until each category is 5-10 sentences.

And don’t be afraid to ask for help.
After all, no one thinks their baby is ugly.
